“L'Inquiétante étrangeté” (The Disturbing Strangeness) is Clarisse Dachy's first short film, produced by Logements Films.
A young girl who was sexually assaulted in the past is being followed around Paris. She doesn't know if a real person is trying to harm her or if she is imagining it. She confronts her stalker in order to free herself from the fears linked to her assault.
The aim of this project is to make hypervigilance visible and palpable, to raise awareness of post-traumatic stress and to explore the invisible consequences of sexual assault. The goal is to immerse the viewer in a sensory and subjective experience where the boundary between reality and perception becomes blurred.
Filming took place at the end of July 2025 and is currently in post-production.
